Chicago Art: As you all know, I love to travel.  Recently my travels took me to one of my favorite US cities, Chicago.  I had a full schedule of eating planned, and between feedings, I had to allow for some digestion.

One of the activities I planned was a visit to Galerie F, located in the historic Logan Square neighborhood.  Galerie F is Chicago’s first gallery dedicated to printmaking and street art. It provides a platform for local, Chicago artists, to showcase and cultivate their talents.  I by no means am an art expert.  I just admire, and I like what I like.

For those of you who tuned in to my May the 4th be with you episode, you will know I am a bit of a Star Wars fan.  The artwork that caught my attention while browsing the gallery where these whimsical Star Wars posters based on the famous Volkswagon ad series.  I really loved the prints and was interested in talking to the artist behind the creation.  So today I was happy to chat with graphic designer and artist Justin Van Genderen.
