May the Force Be With You.  A long time ago, in a galaxy far far away…well, actually it was Kansas.  Brian Caldwell stepped into the theater for A New Hope for the first time and was hooked.

I sit down with die hard Star Wars fan Brian Caldwell.  I love Star Wars, but am not even close to the fandom level that Brian is on; not because he knows the most obscure facts about the film, but because of what the films have meant to him since the first moment he saw A New Hope on the big screen.  Brian and I dive into all things Star Wars: the films, collectors’ items, and the conventions from the 1980s to today.  I didn’t get to watch episode IV, V, or VI in the theater, but did see the films in the early 1980s and enjoyed the trip down memory lane. Even if you aren’t a Star Wars fan, tune in and hear about how Luke Skywalker inspired a teenager from Kansas to dream for bigger and better things.

Many of you are probably anxiously awaiting to see Episode VIII, The Last Jedi, which comes out this weekend in theaters.  I would love to hear feedback of your thoughts on the film. Drop me an email or contact me on social media.

  1. Not much of a super fan if I couldn’t get the director right for the new trilogy… it’s the “The Last Jedi” director Rian Johnson.
